Question Anyone know what kind of Honda this is?

Anyone able to identify this? This bike has been sitting in a garage for about 20 years. I have no idea what it is and am keen to find out.

All i can tell you is that it's older than 1988 (i'm guessing it's way older than that anyway) as the rego sticker on it ran out then.

Apologies for the crap photo, only had my phone to take it, just hope it's enough for someone to recognise it.

Can't be exact sure but I think it would be a "Benly"(model name) of some description CD?125U.

If you get it going and find you can cahnge directly from 5th to 1st (rotary shift mechanisim) then it's defenately a Benly.

    Edit: Found this..

    Dream?

A Benley. That's what it looks like. Twin cylinder 2 stroke of 125cc around about 1960.

You certainly won't regret it! It looks like a 125cc Dream about late 60's vintage. A school mate of mine had one way back, it was fantastic and I was very envious! That was when all the cool guys had Matchless and AJS 500's!

Thanks sully, it looks like some of the old benly's i quickly searched for. Will have to go back and see if i can find a frame number to help confirm it.

Looked like a two stroke to me judging in where the exhaust exits the cylinder. If it's a 4 stroke, then yeah, a Honda Dream
