    More mods for the RSVR

Wave disc's finally turned up today for the Aprilia & they looked sweet just in their box , but wheren't brought to hang on the wall . So of to the Bat cave to put them on which didn't take long but trial fitted them on the bike before torquing up just incase they migth be wrong ya never know ? . Front & back on & very happy with them . Next off to bead them in which will take afew rides but from the 40 ks I did tonight they are going to be Mint even from having Brembo disc's which are fantasic standard . $1300 to my door for these Braking Wave disc's from the Strada M/C though AF1 Aprilia in the USA is still cheaper than the NZ distributor in New Plymouth so all's sweet as . Will post up another review once fully run in which shouldn't take to long by the feels of them already

The Brembo disc are great but even with only 40ks on the " Braking " ones perform better already ! Stopped worrying about speed now adays it all about having the sweetest bike on the road now

I thought one of the big 'pros' of buying a 30k bike was that upgrades to basic stuff like discs wasn't necessary?

I was unaware that you could actually get extra prformance out of swapping discs out for stock ones in the first place

Maate. Those will be utter shit. I'll take em off your hands for the scrap value of the steel. I'm doing you a favour there.

You can buy a 1098Tri for 44K & still have to get the forks & rear shock tuned to suit our roads ??? go figure ! As with your own bike I see you have added bits to it . Just been very $$$$$$$$ doesn't mean it is perfect or what you want it to look / feel like mine does now & very happy too

    Lookin good Scotty
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Better coefficient of friction, reduced rotating mass etc.

Heh, tuned is cheaper than replaced! What do you reckon (just as a personal preference), hard core upgraded second hand bike, or almost factory new bike?

For me my 35K RSVR brand new verse secondhand for 20k was a no brainer , But its still had 6k spent on it to make it mine . Even Factory new Jap bikes aren't as good as they can be as with Italian bikes just depends if you don't mind it been like that or are ok with putting it right with modding it up with some better parts .
