Who, me? I just wander from thread to thread.
Nah - she's good lookin' but not that type of PR girl - she organised and ran the event.
I quite like the look of the bike too. See it with a good rider on board and it looks OK.
I'm too big for it, but it has some nice enough lines on the road.
How it goes makes all that moot anyway.
He's wanted to build this bike for 20 years.
NZ like conditions with more reliable road surfaces than here.
Mine was the first in line.

I also got to play his guitar in the terminal at Albury airport while we waited for a flight. A mazing.
'Who's the best you have jammed with Erik'
'Awww...Satriani was pretty cool'
OH WOW! I am sooooooooo jealous but stoked for ya mate!
Don't get me wrong, my old girl is a keeper but when I win Lotto...
Badcat, crying for ya and you have just reinforced for me how important it is to keep yer mouth shut around anyone ya don't know. I don't feel so paranoid now.
BTW heres me on the 1125R... ok so it wasn't gonna be going anywhere but ya get the general idea LOL
...it is better to live 1 day as a Tiger than 1000 years as a sheep...
Yeah, talked to Pete about it Thursday. He was pleased as punch to get one of 5 only for NZ at the moment and said it couldn't have gone to a better chap.
You enjoy that bike Jason. It's a beauty. And don't you dare throw it over the side of the hill.
Tell me though - I reckon it'd be like a Firebolt with an RSV-R motor in it. Would I be right?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

I'd love to but won't be able to. I was in there on Wednesday with a workmate - we took the gixxer thou and the B-King out. I happened to enquire when he would have an 1125R in, and Pete informed me the closest I'd get to a test ride was to have a stare at your one, on the grounds that I didn't drool over it...
Anyway, got all four kids to look after the next week (school hols and all that - and two I don't see too much so I'll make the most of it) so the chances of me getting near a bike shop is pretty piss poor.
I'll live vicariously through your posting on the ride though - you have a good one tomorrow on the hill. I'll look up wistfully tomorrow morning from my back yard (I live in Wallaceville, Upper Hutt) and think of you.
lucky bastard.
