I can't find anything on the CCA website about what time the events (night time paper ribbon making classes and daytime riding) starts.
Am I supposed to get that when the entry is acknowleged? (Cos that hasn't happened either)
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

I did eventually get an email confirming my entry, that was some time ago, with a note saying more details would be sent out nearer the time. Given that people still seem to be sending entries in, I expect the "more details" will be next week.
Failing that we will make it up as we go.....

    Hey all...
I am meeting a few guys on Saturday morning for a warm up ride around Coromandel. Sticking to the metal roads and hitting the pub for lunch etc.
Picked up my new 990s Adventure yesterday. I did just a couple of hundred Km on it and it is now in the garage under cover.
Decided to use the KTM 640 Adventure for the CCA as I am getting MT21 put on it next week and it will be more fun riding that in the mud, dirt etc it if is a little greasy.
I certainly will be keen for some activities on Sunday and have even thought about the 42 Traverse on the way home or similar.
Catch up with you all in Plimmerton. I will be setting up camp, tenting it, doing it the real adventure way excepting of course the drinkies and the grub!

Just finnished fitting a brand new Mitas E-09 to the rear of fatty, and put my best TKC80 on the front.
A quick strop out the back left a 25mtr trench made by the Mitas in the soft grass. Ooooweeee, Fatty got a new pair of feet.

Big thanks Duncan, I had however not risk bending myself at this point eh? Am still recovering from Carpel tunnel release surgery 2 weeks ago, which is slower getting better than I hoped- too much to do to be able to recuperate properly!

    Very generous offer, thanks.

I knew he had hurt himself. He was quiet and holding his chest when putting down the tent. Never said anything though.
Got my new KTM 990 the other day, just debating as to whether it goes to Wellington for the ride or I take the KTM 640. Decisions, decisions....
Weather will be the deciding factor.
