I have a pretty valid excuse I reckon haha.
It's not every day you get hit by a car..
Good luck with the ride folks.

Because he knows the time is short
Let him who hath understanding
Reckon the number of the beast
For it is a human number
Its number is six hundred and sixty six.

Only just discovered that one has to click on each page to follow this thread. I've been waiting three weeks for page one to update.
I'm in Waipawa Hawkes bay, will take thursday night off from Takapau freezing works and ride gn up to Brother in Auckland thursday. Was born in Waipiro Bay 60 years ago and never been back since. Brother just wants to come along in van. He is definitely not a biker.
Still a little confused on exactly where starting point is?

Hi, does anyone know when is this tour arrive in Tolaga Bay?
I'm from Gisborne, I might ride from Tolaga Bay to Gisborne with you guys.
Thanks
Andy
BP Autobahn is dead easy to find.
Coming from Auckland you go on State Highway 1 heading South and just keep going down and then just after the turn off to Karaka there is a few blue signs with the classic, Gas station, toilets, food symbols etc. Turn off down there and it's like a massive rest stop.. You'll always find heaps of bikers down there especially in the morning so just look for 250's or ask around till you find someone from kiwibiker.

Hey guys just letting ya know I'm still planning to do the Coro loop on Friday with you all then head back (I see quite a few are actually doing that now too!)... Just a bit sceptical about the level of traffic on Anzac day in the middle of the school hols?!
FIRST POST UPDATED:
Everyone who is intending to do the tour please send me a PM regarding your Accomodation requirements. Are you doing the whole tour and if so are you staying with us on both nights - friday and saturday. Please confirm ASAP. Also make sure you are signed up on the calender event. Please remove your name from the callender event if you are not staing any nights with us in the backpackers.
I've been given a wise suggestion about moving the starting time of the tour ONE HOUR EARLIER. I think it is a good idea. I'm thinking Meeting time 7:00am and shooting off at 7:30am. This will give us an extra hour of daylight. How do you guys feel about that?
That's getting pretty early! Maybe I could just leave my house at 8 or so and see if I catch up with you guys at all during the day!
Oh and I assume Dushy isn't coming, but I see he's on the list.
I can do 7. it will be a pretty cold start to the day, but itl wake us up at lest.
ha yea I gues you do, hows the repairs going?I have a pretty valid excuse I reckon haha.
