Awww miss all the fun !! Mates just bought a brand new Busa and recons they the Mekky (mekky as suzuki does) Wicked hp though, as he's into his drags and looking forward to it !

Well bloody good arvo. Waited for Lance and a whole group of riders, around 10 or so, turned up. The lead rider, Alan, introduced himself and invited us to tag along. OK says us. And off we toodle. Nice bunch of "mature" riders, lots of grey hair.

Off through to Dannevirke via the scenic route with Gerble to the front showing the rest where to go. Stopped at Dannevirke for a natter, top up and a smoke. Then down the weber road and the back route towards Ormondville.

Stopped at an intersection to regroup and hmm why is the brand new Hyabusa smelling like Rotorua and steaming merrily away? Battery removed and left to settle down and limp to civilisation or organise a trailer.

At this point some decided to head on through Ormondville straight home while 5 of us headed of to Johns for a cuppa. Lost Barry and a few others about this time. Hope they made it home ok.

Yeah made it home ok. Wasn't sure which road we were looking for and everything was looking fairly dark thru the tinted visor by that time so headed home. Great day.

Met everyone at the Mobil but unfortunatly in the cage
Was very impressed in the two new mufflers sported by Sarge and Blacksheep. Nice guys
Monie and I had a short ride of our own out to Dogs place to feed his little kitties, where we got a very warm reception from the cute little fluff balls
Nice ride apart from the new road serface that they always seem to neglect sweeping. Got to the 100 ks sign to say the road works were finished so I began stretching the concours legs only to find they had put the signs up a little early and there was still heaps of pee metal all over the next corner. Needless to say I needed a change of undies when i got home. thankfully Monie saw me brake and realised what happened and proceeded to cruise round the said corner like an old pro

It's been suggested any organised Manawatu rides go into seperate threads. Can be quite difficult for some to weed out what's happening with all the white noise that gets created in this one.

Well though i may not have shown it in the past few weeks since meeting you mate (but we have been out there doing it) we are always keen to head up your way if sommits going on, from what i've seen so far its good ppl, good roads, ok so it rain more BUT ! If theres any learners coming along we will be on both bikes, otherwise two up to keep up's the word (cant wait for HRH to get onto her 900) !
Would class us as being manawatu cause i hate wellington lol, too much traffic, shit roads (can only do paekok rimutaka so often)

As with the seperate threads (has to be someone too lazy to read through the pages of dribble that suggested it don't it ?) i quite enjoy the banter that goes on in here ! It aint that hard to catch up is it !~
