As the search for the tankbag continues, I'm also looking for a topcase.

I'd like some flash aluminum ones, but tips are welcome.

    Also where to buy them?

    tnx,

Bling-bling aluminium cases are pretty expensive & I don't think anyone in NZ stocks them so you might be best looking on the net for those or finding a good sheetmetal fabricator locally that could make some up.

The basic Givi or similar plastic cases are relatively cheap & most bike shops have em. A toolbox bolted on the back is a cheaper option. For something fairly tough a Pelican type case is another option, much cheaper to get them off the net than locally.

    Cheers

I was just busy having a look around on the net. I always find there to many choices. Drives me insane.

But those pelican cases do look good. I'd prefer a 1520 case. I think that's big enough.

Just send a email to the importer where to buy them. But buying them online is much cheaper you reckon?! Any ideas where?

I was thinking of getting a set to make some panniers out of a while back, just do a search & find one of the US online shops that is happy to ship to NZ. IIRC I could have got two cases delivered from the US for cheaper than buying one from the local importer.

    Cheers
