And there is exactly what a lot of people forget: disability does not mean something obvious to the naked eye. Disease or not though, you're an awesome person, that's for sure!I have a disability card .. I don't abuse it, but use it when I need it ... I look perfectly able and all that .. but would swap my disease for someone elses carpark on the other side of the lot any bloody day!
And too blimmin nice...My most common expression to others using parks without showing the card is "oh don't forget to put your card down" and I leave it at that, with mine in the window. Its normally enough to get the point across.
In my typical "I don't give a shizzer" attitude, I just open my mouth...I profoundly dislike people disrespecting other people.
Of course there is hun...may have to do with the fact that the bike community is very much one where people respect each other and help each other.
You go, girl!
That type of behaviour pisses me off no end!
As part of my job, I get to transport kids with varying degrees of disabilities. Once at the the hospital hydrotherapy pool, I had parked in the "Therapy Patients only" parking, (displaying our disability card in the window) only to be ticketed because I was not in a "Disabled Park"
On one other occasion, I confronted a rather large gent as he parked in a disabled park. He waved his artificial leg at me asking if it was disability enough for me. I told him "Not without the parking permit to go with it, Sir".
We need to stand up and confront these morons!
Diarrhoea is hereditary - it runs in your jeans
If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...
Have the same thing happen at times with the disabled parks. I'm a prick and at times just park my car behind theirs and if they return I say I'm waiting for a tow truck. Been abused only once and I removed an arm from my wheelchair and commented on how good a weapon it would be and I'd been wanting to see how much damage I could do with it for some time. The punk backed off pretty quickly but by that time a few other bods had come over to give a hand/fist if required. I'm dangerous if Im in a pissed off mood because the pain level is too high. Too many selfish fuckers in this world caused by polictical correctness and too many dumb fucks to stop it from getting worse. I will end up bashing someone in the future if they start with the "park rage" because of being told the truth which I allways do politlely at first. Some people need to learn that when you come as close to death as I have and live with pain all your life, that I'm no longer worried about being hurt as long as I make the opposition very hurt in the process.![]()
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.
Good ol' rag up the exhaust. Fuck's them everytime.

Now I feel really shallow for using my last bling to get sex
As the bottom line of my signature says....
I got a warning letter the other day for "punching a vehicle" while riding the SV to work. Prick decided to park in the middle of the road because he wanted to change lanes.
Honest, I didn't get physical till the git mouthed of at me
Nice Audi though.
Some things are worth dying for, living is one of them.
No, I have no idea what you are talking about
Seriously though, people like your latte sipper today are seemingly on the increase.
I see some comment regarding the fact that kiddie parks are a new thing, we did not have them in the olden days. No we didn't, but I really wished we had. I have had the 3 kids under 5 experience, would have been great to have been so close to the shops. As it was I think I traumatised my eldest child, she could not take her hand off the car because "she was not safe" otherwise...LOL. She still reminds me about it now.
We dont have these new fangled parent parks where we live, but we sure do have disabled parking places. I do not hesitate to call someone out if I see them parked in a disabled park without the card displayed. I even complained to our local council (we do have a parking warden) to get some action out side our post office.
I received an irate call one day at work from a woman who could not use a disabled park due to one of our work utes taking the space! I apologised and promised action. It was a rep (he said he did not see the sign on the pillar) this a private car park, no yellow wheelchair painted in the park. He was mortified! Went to the florist, bought some flowers, found the lady in question - having her hair done at the salon in the plaza. Apologised in person and gave her the flowers.
Good on you for speaking out #1! Personally I would have just given her the bash![]()
Pity you couldn't have just flopped the young one up on her bonnet and changed his pooey nappy! Adding a smear or two to the windscreen and wipers for good measure, of course....
But then, I'd never encourage that kind of behaviour now, would I?![]()
A dream without a plan is just a wish!
