Similar situation at Palmerston hospital, when your having radiation you are given a card with specific instructions to use carpark 2 (I think),you have to display the card on your dash to advise security your getting treatment. The idea is not far to walk to the rear entrance, saw more than one car being towed, and nearly had ours towed as the damn card had slidden off the dash and onto the centre consule.Saw a lady giving an uncarded vehicle their pedigree one day,she really gave the driver full bore for trying to use a closer park.

Can never understand people using disabled parks when fully able.Just to save walking another 25mts or so,shit how many people with disability stickers would welcome the ability to walk even 5mts?

Carry a valve cap that has the little unscrew end on it, whip out at least two of their tyre valves, wait until the tyres go down, screw their caps back on, whistle and walk away.

Good on you - i'd have done exactly the same thing. I often wonder if those who park in the handicapped parks without a permit/sticker have the excuse of "mental handicap".

Just wondering, on here they mention 'All other parking signs apply between 8 am and 6 pm', but 'Parking for people with disabilities' is another section beneath that. So disability parks are fair game after 6pm?

It's pretty clear if you read it that disability parks are only for the use of those that have the card at any time of the day....

I keep forgetting that I can use the expectant mum carparks - not that you can get near them anyway with all the non-expectant or non kiddie cars parked in them. Personally I reckon the extra bit of walking could be good as it might bring on labour so I can get this ginourmous wriggle monster out.

Here's a handy tip....carry a little tube of superglue in your purse/bag just for occasions such as these. Squirt glue into both drivers and passengers door locks. As for cars with remote lock/unlock, pull out your swiss army knife and scratch " MENTALLY DISABLED" into the paint on the drivers door!
Works a treat, Ive seen it done and Ive seen the cars owner return to find it,
He actually kicked in the door and left with a hell of a squeal of tyres hehehe!

Other option for politically correct people, call a tow truck and get the bloody thing removed, at the biartch's expense.
