    Reccy ride on the 7th

    Hey Guys

I have to come back up to the waikato for a week from the 5th so I can not make the 7th reccy ride, however cowboyz will still head out & do a check out of the route ..

so if anyone wants to join him & check out the ride & possible requirements then check out the calendar ..

I am hoping to do the ride the following weekend (depending on family circumstances) with Cowboyz again .. & hopefully we can organise a meeting afterwards (this is still two weeks out from the event) I still have to get to chat to police about escort in & out of the city ..

& a few ppl have come up with ideas regarding running raffles .. sounds great .. does anyone want to pick up the ball for this one & organise (along the lines of $100 petrol vouchers selling 100 tickets for $4.00 each .. thats another 300 raised for chopper)

    anyone else have ideas ????

does anyone need posters to put up around bike shops ..

can anyone organise the shops in palmy for posters?? (phil turnbulls already has theirs up .. thanks pauly & carmen)

Dropped a few posters off around pram, waikanae on my travels today !
Twin cam and The bike clinic have a couple each and yeah i stopped at the waikanae pub so stuck a couple in the windows there (hey a lot of riders stop there lol look at me !!!)
Got talked into entering the triple in the twin cam bike show at coastlands tommorrow so will see if i can get a poster up there somewhere !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

nods .. I was thinking of perhaps 2-4 raffles like that .. however it will mean organising a crap load of change as well .. $4.00 is that odd amount to have .. another thing to add to the list ..

Have ya checked into the legal side of the raffles Sandra ? Know when i was in the rag trade we did a few raffles of leather jackets etc and there is a limit to how much you can do without getting permits ie think it is $400 per raffle but might pay to check !
