Totally agree with this, Like I said Iron mike doesn't think like your average person. Who Knows what must have gone through his head, If he didnt get into boxing He would be dead on the street for bashing the wrong druggy ect. People call him a animal for a reason he hasn't lost that instinct. He was brought up rough.

The home he stayed in.. at 14 he bashd the wardens and security gaurds at the orphanage, Broke a 6'4 250bs security gaurds jaw. what does that say.

The reason - He was denied a weekend pass for fighting.

We are all born sinners...he was born in a tough area...he did not have a lot of choice.

Did you watch the Harry Carpenter interview?

    What a crock of shit.

1 - I dont believe that people are born sinners.

2 - Every one makes a choice - he chose to be a bad ass, raping animal - its not like he didnt know that rape (or any of the other shit he did) was illegal or indeed reprehensible, but still he made the conscious decision to do it.

To say he didnt have a lot of choice because he was born in a bad area is the kind of PC crap that lets people take the easy way out.

Yep - its harder - but if more of them chose to 'fight' to make it out of that area and improve themselves the world would be a better place.

Sadly a very insular view...compare where he was born to South Auckland...South Auckland would be a holiday camp...sorry to South Aucklanders because I think it is an alright place but just basing on the general view that gets banded around...there are far worse places in the UK

And he did fight to improve himself didn't he earning $millions.

I really don't think you have any idea about poverty and America and the added hindrance of being black...

Watched a programme and not convinced about his jail sentence...going to jail would have been the worst place for him to go..

No - its still your PC nonsense.

As for me not having any idea about poverty and America and the added hindrance of being black...well - you are well wrong.

I got to the US a lot. I work in the South of the US - where there is a ton of poverty, and racism is at its worse. Some of my best friends over there (that I see several times a year) are black. I hired a black guy into a snr position and saw first hand the bigotry that he encountered.

So - dont go jumping to conclusions, that you know everything and that others are ignorant of the facts.

Ive been hanging out with folk having a meal in there trailers talking about it first hand - and you ?????

Speaking of insular views - your comment "And he did fight to improve himself didn't he earning $millions" - you are falling into the trap of thinking that $$$ = improving himself.

Some of the most fantastic people in the world have no $$$. The father working 3 jobs, driving a taxi etc to make sure that his kids have a better chance than him - He has no $$$ but he's improving himself, his children and society.

Just because someone comes from a poor area and ends up with millions (and remember btw that Tyson was such a idiot he has nothing left and OWES millions) - thats not improving themselves - it just means they made money. Look at guys like the ones from Bluechip - they made Money - but would you really call that improving themselves and being better people.

As for saying that Jail was the worst place for him - what do you suggest we do with Rapist?

No probs, I don't know you and I appreciate your adding to this...so happy to be wrong.

Money and prooving oneself, I agree in principle, but to a lot of guys like Tyson they don't see it that way...they come from poverty...and as you say that is why they end up loosing it...

Tyson a rapist...she went up to his room with him...she got in over her head...realised that tyson was an animal and said "No"...Tyson ignored that, but he was not your typical rapist....how far she allowed him to go is ?? and I am not agreeing with what is alleged to have or did happen but doco I watched cast some doubts...

Perhaps she just succeeded in her quest for notoriety, different strokes for different folks, maybe she found an easy sucker.

Who will ever really know, other than the two of them! John.

I think I have seen the same doco, He became a easy target for women trying to make a buck. he far from a nice guy. But there is alot of doubt in all of the acusers stories.

And tank - and in my eyes ( don't expect otheres to share this view nor am i trying to convince ) but everyone is born a sinner. From a Christians point of view any way. we carry the burden of sin for being a man thank good old adam and eve.( story that yes I no )

Any way love boxing as a sport and he was a great boxer

It ain't easy being a Christian eh....always wondered if Adam and Eve are one of the many metaphors in the bible...or that Adam and Eve were real with metaphors in story...but then the bible is in effect a Story of what is too come with an end...

Nah...some of the parishioners are bad enough mate...lol...I used to go to Holy Trinity but tend to go to St Pauls now and take my Daughter to Holy Trinity...told Vicar at Holy Trinity the services were boring....St Puls has a vibe and listened to Dr Mark Strom yesterday at both am and pm services and "wow" what an amazing guy...

Plus oddly they do the pub thing on a Sunday I think when I am at church...but who knows
