I think we both enjoyed betting back on our own bikes again! - the Tiger had much better wind protection than the GS and the engine is much smoother than the big twin (which felt identical to Jantars V Strom to me) and I would prefer it on the highway. However the GS had a feel and riding position that I reckon would make it better on the gravel (although I didn't ride it on gravel) - it seemed longer and felt more like a trail bike when underway.
Having said that the Tigers not too bad on the gravel - I like the look of the EO7 Shrek has put on the back of his GS. I didn't think they would fit but after seeing that I will be putting one on the Tiger soon

Sometimes you wish it was easier, but if it was, everyone else would do it, then you remember you don't want to be like everybody else!

i found the saddle more comfortable than the Gs as well the distance between the foot pegs & the saddle was longer by about half an inch great for long distance riding

down side for me to narrow across handle bars
front suspension to hard under 120km
when standing found i had to lean back to see console
    & it had a chain

enjoyed the ride that i had, but as Bruce said it was good to get back on the Gs
