    New bike = Triumph Tiger

Well peoples I’ve gone and done it, sold my Kawasaki and bought a new Triumph Tiger. As some of you know Lemans and I have been out test riding the Tiger and the Sprint and I must say the Tiger fits me like a glove.

When Lemans and I took them both out last weekend, well what a blast I had on the Tiger. It was like climbing on your own bike, as the Sprint for me was like getting on board a bike you have not ridden before. (Sounds silly but you know what I mean)

The way the Tiger soaks up the bumps and potholes on corners was just amazing. With the big wide bars going into corners is so easy, if the corner tightens up just push on those big bars and around you go.

With the triple you seem to have a smooth motor like a four but the torque of a twin. I was amazed at the smoothness of the whole bike, with the Showa front suspension and the front brakes are just fantastic.

On Wednesday I went back to Street and Sport and went for another ride. This time I just stayed in town to see how it was going through traffic etc. Because I’m only about 5’7 I thought I may have a little trouble, but no worries at all. On a hot day when your pants stuck to you I may, but you can lower it a little so no problem there.

I was so impressed I went back and bought a nice blue one. I should be getting it on Saturday all going well. I’ll put up some photos once I get it and a write up on it because I’m sure a blue one will go better than the orange demonstrator.

Congrats. The Tiger seems to be a popular seller.
I know what you mean about the triple engine. So unique and enjoyable in its power delivery.

    Sweet!

Now you'll have to find potholes to stop in & ditches to park in

Nice one, The triple is an engine to behold, I'm on my third and plan to have a few more. I've never had a problem with the S3's I've owned and always been amazed at the power delivery they give, smooooth and torquey!!Lots of fun. congratulations

Congrats Bent51...007XY and I both fell in love with the Tiger a couple of years ago...test rode one while our 955 Daytona was in service (as you do!), and after 4 hours on the Tiger, we still wanted more...so we traded the Daytona and had a blast.

The Tiger is an awesome beastie which will give you heaps of satisfaction.

Make sure to post up on your rides

Anza motorcycles have a white one for sale, had a look at it, interesting bike but not particularly my cuppa but each to his/her own, saw a black one on the road a few weeks back, i must admit that looked pretty good.
