Update: Insurance guy went back to dealer. Bike is totalled out.

Right now Im thinking of getting a 2009 Honda CBR600RR. Im waiting to see if it gets a slipper clutch and some decent paint first though .

Another option is an '07 R-1 or Gixxer Thou. Dont know.

    Condition Update:

Feeling nearly 100% now. Still getting headaches and the occasional sharp pain in my right eye. Also my teeth hurt. Other then that I feel great. Energy level is back up finally.

Tuesday, June 3, is the big day...........I get my jaw unwired and I get to go to the dentist and have my teeth fixed AND I get to have an eye exam and sort my vision sorted out.

Just have to count down the days........

Good to hear - that you're getting better, not the poo thing.

Your headaches and eye pains have me in mind of the random collection of aches and pains I had after my car accident. I had no major injuries - just a bit of whiplash & bruising, but a year after I was getting migraines and headaches daily, my jaw felt tight, stabbing pains in my head, eyes, ears etc - as well as a number of other niggling medical problems. Took me ages to wonder whether they were all connected or related to the accident.

So - if you find after a while that you are experiencing similar, consider going to a chiropractor. It only took me two visits to be completely relieved of all of those symptoms and feeling fantastic. If your spine/neck is not aligned properly (which it is unlikely to be after all of that trauma), then your nerves are not free to feed your organs so that they function properly. Makes a huge difference to how well you feel....so keep an eye on yourself. Hope you feel better soon!

LOL, nah not slow......just hadnt taken her to the track yet. Seriously....its just stupid to ride that hard on the street. Too many things can go wrong and I never had any intention of putting others in danger so I could have some fun. At least with track days everyone there has signed on the dotted line and knows the risks and understands people are going to be pushing the edge out there......so if shit happens and people get hurt its the risk everyone agreed to take.

For people that dont have access to a track I can kinda understand the need to push it on the street.......but I've got a great track less then an hours ride from my house that hosts regular trackdays for motorcycles and even hosts AMA racing.....it helps keep me nice and gentle on the road....for the most part.

One thing I am glad of is that my accident was single vehicle. Im glad my R-6didnt slide out into a car coming the other way or something like that. I hate it when people pay the price for someone elses mistake.

Anyway, yeah Im going to see a doctor about my neck and pain in my face. Also for some reason every time I wake up in the morning my face is swollen and throughout the day it goes down steadily. Its an ongoing thing.

Oh and yeah....I had that poo hehehe. I was seriously fearing that poo too!!! From all that was said by others who have experienced similar situations I was thinking it was gonna be like giving birth out my arse. In the end it was a big anticlimax. LOL.

    +1 Indeed!

Nah, there's need and then there's need. You need food to stay alive - you don't need to get knee down on the public road in order to enjoy motorcycling...

Don't worry mate, it's just that the blood pressure in your head is higher when you lie down. That's also why you elevate your leg if you've sprained an ankle or have a big bruise on your shin...
Actually, a bit of the same thing happens with your spine - the vertebraes compress during the day and relax during the night. You should be able to measure a height difference between when you get out of bed in the morning and when you go to bed at night (Apparently pilots using an ejection seat will become approximately 3 cm shorter - for a while... so I've heard at least.)
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)
