OK this is a bit off topic but.... Srsly WTF is a diesel???? Some says "Aah the diesel got me! I binned" etc but.... I don't know if I've even seen it! WTF is a diesel!

I dunno which is worse - a badly maintained diesel, or a crapped-out petrol engine burning heaps of oil. Either way, I *hate* following them. But ban diesels? No.
Modern, well-maintained diesel-engined vehicles are actually a very sensible solution for NZ.

How do you think your petrol gets to the pumps? Getting towed in a tanker trailer by some pimply faced school leaver in a $300 323 with $1500 worth of wheels? No, it's brought to you courtesy of diesel. Oh and plus I have a diesel ute so of course I'm pro diesel!

Diesels are what trucks use and trucks keep the country going completely, everything your little hands touch was on a truck, even your motorbikes, no trucks equals nothing, no bikes no food no beer (yes beer)

In Europe, some companies now make and sell more Diesel powered cars than petrol powered, and the new high performance diesels are capable of outperforming their petrol equivalents.

If it just weren't so expensive..............

Euro diesels, I was in Vienna a few weeks ago. I think there was a even split petrol/diesel amongst the cars, maybe even higher in favour of diesel.
