Visiting Auckland this weekend ... where to shop?

    Hi all,

We're driving north this weekend heading into the CBD (taking the kids to High School Musical On Ice !!! exciting stuff), and would like to visit some good motorcycle gear shops on the way... looking at jackets/pants/boots, helmets etc. We don't want to end up too far off the main roads (ie: southern motorway) but would like to know where the shops are that have the best range of reasonably priced gear.

    Suggestions anyone?

    Thanks

    JT

Definately Motomail, and also Cycletreads (plus the bikeshops further up the road from 'treads.
That will give you an excuse to go over the harbour bridge and give the kiddies a "scenic tour".

Motomail is pretty good as has been mentioned, I would also suggest you to take a look at Quasi's stuff on Quasimoto.co.nz for clothing, they're down your way in Hamilton.

they have moved in to the college hill shop now.

as has been mentioned both motomail and cycletreads are the ones to visit.
and both are only a couple of minutes (if that)off the motorway.
