Final goodbye.thats what funerals are for.

leaving the note i think would do more harm than good and perhaps not help the grieving process. i dunno. each to thier own.
Shit skids..thats the most intelligent post i have ever seen you do.....
that south island weather must be doing you good...
as for leaving notes..well a lot of you blokes are young....
and lot of us are older.....we dont know when we are going to die...
    circumstances change in our life....
think leaving notes may be a suiside thing....
bit of a cry for help......
but the people that are left behind grieve a lot more...

Yeah, the note I plan on leaving is a HUGE credit card bill and a cheque that bounces all the way back from the bank. Life's short; live it to the fullest. When I die, they can cut my full back tat off and put it on display as far as I am concerned, 'cause I'll be looking up at them and be laughing all the time...

I'd ensure there was a venue with beds pre booked only for bikers and many kegs to drink and lots of food to party the sadness away in my honour!!

None of my family will be invited for personal reasons....thats how I want it. I have no note too many know my ways already.

    luv yas!!

Bling for that, so true. And it works just as well for all those arseholes too, ensure they know exactly what you think of them before you kick the bucket or it will be too late!

I have left a note... "Pump up your back tyre!"
It must have had all of 8psi in it.

You mean, sorta like a Will..? If anyone wants some info on wills and EPA's, just PM me. Nothing in it for me, I've just got the discussion documents.

They are very important but a lot of people don't bother with them until it's too late.

I have left a copy of my will in a place known by the executor of said will, and have discussed wills contents. Morbid perhaps, fatalistic definitly but hey, we aint playing with the safest toys in the toybox!!

My aim is to outlive everyone who knows me. Seriously why worry about it?

I'm pretty sure that my wife and kids know how I feel about them.

Damn that's got me thinking... I think i'll leave a video for the family, in order for them to get over my loss... comfort them in their hour of need... and hopefully hurry along the healing process for them... great excuse to get that 3 some on tape... should do the trick...
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

My point about a will being sufficient communication has already been made.

Apart from describing how one would like one's worldly goods distributed, imparting words of advice or good cheer from beyond the grave seems a bit patronising to me. Live your life right and you should have told everybody your care for/about what you think about them while you're alive. If you don't like or love somebody while you're alive, then they're probably not going to believe that you had a change of heart once dead. Particularly given that you would have written your note while being alive. I detest hypocrisy and dishonesty, particularly emotional dishonesty.

Not really relevant to the thread...but its leaving a note none the less.
Hear hear, I get really peed off with having to park right down the far end of the staff carpark at school (with all the gear I have to carry) just because some ignorant twit decides to take up 2 parking spaces 'cos they can't park straight and parking spaces are at a total premium to begin with!
