sweet, I'm having some minor issues with my new grips (too long for the bars/end weights) but hopefully will get that sorted tonight

its a CBR family thing. We have the same problem with both 400's and the CBR250R Hurricane (funny name really, considering how devastating a Hurricane is and how pathetic the MC19 is).

The bar weights are (if stock) designed to have the grips partially cover them. Otherwise, we have had to trim the grips down as I have oxford carbon bar ends on. Don't forget the safety wire.

sorted - just put spacers between the end weight and the bar end so it doesnt interfere with the grip

Lock wire... safety wire... you should ALWAYS put it on your grips ato hold them on. Water gets under them and they can slip straight off on a corner etc.

I have it a quite a few bolts on the Blade. even the Sump bolt has a little hole drilled in the side of it to lock wire it on.

on the bolts etc I can understand but there's no way the griups are going to be able to slide off with the bar end weights in the way
