    I wave to other bikers.

When in the cage I wave at everyone driving a car.

When Im walking - I wave ay other walkers, and even give a nod to joggers.

When Im old - im only going to wave a people in zimmer frames and those little cart things.

Fuck - does anyone ever do a search and see that there are 4 fucking million waving threads.

Heh! My son and I were out riding today, and the sport bike rider we rode past didn't even acknowledge our waves...... But the Harley riders about 2 minutes behind him gave us a huge nod!! 'Onya, fellas!

Don't care if I'm a dork, I nod or wave. Being a southern man by upbrining, it's just habit. Funny though, round auckland I'll get 1 in every 5 or so acknowledge, outside of aucks almost everyone does.

It's just a way of saying g'day. Likewise if I'm watching an Otago game at a pub and see someone else in blue & gold I say hi.
I figure car drivers must be Apes. All they do is sit in cages all day & grunt

Id agree with bik3rchik that sports bikers almost never give a nod back, prolly because theyre too scared to take their hand off their overpowered suicide on wheels.. especially Ducati riders.. as compared to a cruiser rider who almost always acnowledge a nod or a wave..

Went for a ~300k ride this morning and out of about 30 riders, the only ones that nodded/waved were three folks going south just north of Orewa. On the way back, in the dark and the pissing rain saw a couple bikes, but, well it was pissing rain and I was trying to concentrate, which ain't easy even in good weather.

Why do a search when it's a hell of a lot more fucking fun to piss off others and make them respond to these endless, incessant waving threads.

I passed a cop the other day while splitting lanes and he was furiously waving and pointing to the side of the road. It was funny, because I hadn't even waved at him. Gosh, the cops are really friendly here.

I wave to everyone, regardless. Build up the good feelings !

Thanks to the folks on the fat cruiser that passed me and my son on his very very very twitchy first ride out of edgecumbe yesterday. Slightly too close or too loud and he would have put his brand new pride and joy on the road, but you gave him LOTS of room and respect and a big wave to boot !! I was worried before, stoked afterwards. Thanks!
