Possibly - he feels the same way. In this case he may have been correct.

Whilst its not nice, (and he probably should not have said that to a stranger hes ticketing) but we do need to look at ourselves also.

He is not saying anything new there that most of us haven't said about other bikers ourselves.

So you're riding in the wet at 130, overtaking on double yellows and HE's the one being the cunt?

Again - if a copper is being unreasonable and targeting bikers - then all power to any and all who can make complaints and get him sanctioned (or whatever they do).

BUT blaming him for shit like the above is just stupid. That's YOUR fault - stand up and take some ownership.
This goes for everyone, not just you, whos commenting in any way of defence for the said policeman.

    Come on the ATNR.

I wont listen to any comments unless you have witnessed/experienced this guy first hand.

Having read many post about the ATNR from people that go on it - I wouldn't come along if you paid me. Id more worried about some on you guys than the copper.

Again - having legitimate complaints about him are fair enough (travelling too close, lights on full; dangerous driving etc). All of those things are indefensible.

However wining about being ticked (like you have) for things that fall into the dangerous riding pile are hardly going to get sympathy from many on here - little less from a independent body. THAT doesnt help your cause in the slightest - in fact it strengthens his.

    Morcs you naughty little boy!!!!

Yea lets keep the posts about the topic at hand. Officer being dangerous and harassing.

    Tank.

The atnr has had a few riders who come once in a blue moon and act like dicks, granted. Cant stop that from happening. One has been relocated to the southern island courtesy of KB(thanks heaps)
But on the whole they are a good group of people who ride safely.
Dawn and Steve have done a great job of organising the ride and it is a great social gathering.
Please come and join in and see for yourself or.....

thats exactly the attitude i mean.

It wasnt dangerous. I would never ever put a pillion in a situation that was dangerous.
I could do the whole ATNR route without dropping below 140 (expect 2 corners) and It wouldnt actually be dangerous.

This is where it contradicts. the officer does not give a shit about us, in fact he hates us to the point of trying to force us into doing something stupid, as well as staking us out. Then he does the 'I told you so' when someone gets hurt, and genuinely doesnt care.

So If he didnt care if we end up dead, then why doesnt he leave us the fuck alone - he seems like the type of guy that believes in natural gene pool cleansing.

    Quota.

damn all these people that actually think because we get ticketed a lot that we are dangerous and cant actually ride.

What attitude? Step outside the road rules and you might get pinged. "Dangerous" may be subjective, but 130k 2up over double yellows isn't exactly genius material.
Agree with tailgating and high beam shit etc. These guys are supposed to uphold the law, not break it to goad reactions. For that, the ginga should be sacked.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

how is this constructive, your forum bashing a ginga cop,if what your saying is above board, make a complaint to the cops or build a bridge and get over it.

    Your serious right?

You don't notice that you have just as much attitude as he does?

The upshot (In your case) is that you ARE riding in a manner that is LEGALLY dangerous. Then you complain when you get done for it. Again - that's not the coppers problem - that's yours.

No matter how 'awesome your riding skillz' doesnt come into it. IF you are riding like that each Thursday - then there is good reason for him to camp out and give you tickets (as per your old signature).

As for your comment: "So If he didnt care if we end up dead, then why doesnt he leave us the fuck alone - he seems like the type of guy that believes in natural gene pool cleansing."

Maybe he doesnt give a fuck if you kill yourself or not - who knows. But I'm pretty sure he not keen on you killing someone else who was innocently coming the other way.

Now - before I piss off the "Lets hang the Ginga" gang - Im all for him getting done if hes doing the stuff that is being posted (and I not doubting that he is) - but I suggest that people who have had so many infringements like yourself keep out of the complaint - because its never going to be taken seriously when its people like yourself compaining.

You speak truth and logic. but I still disagree. there's things in theory, and then in practice - the difference - common sense. My point is, its the way the cop handles these matters - If I break the law - I expect to be pulled over. I also expect to be ticketed - but at the end of the day, a good cop will give a warning first time around (not expected though) but in general will stand for reason, and help you see the error of your ways - not tell you the error of your ways and thats final and generally be a cunt about it.

Lets agree to disagree and leave it there. Id rather bitch about a cop than defend my own actions

For any campaign to get rid of this cop to be successful, you guys need to be 100% law abiding..not 99%..that is not close enough. No speeding, no 'dangerous' passing manouevres, no nothing outside the law at all!
If you really plan on playing this guy at his own game, I suggest you get this thread locked and communicate only by PM or text message....I believe the guy can read!
