Fantastic GTR boy! One up for the good guys, well done in my books!
As someone has said, they used their ute as a weapon, he came at you in an agressive manner and fearing for your saftey, you defended yourself and your property.

I've just read this thread and wanted to say that I am so glad that you are physically okay. Not run over or head-butted and stomped on.

I was in a scary situation once with an angry man coming towards me. I had pulled over to talk through a roadragey moment. The guy was all bulked up and red in the face striding up as I pulled my helmet off. I could see the confusion as his brain registered: THE BIKER IS FEMALE!

I could see him get hold of himself and try to physically cool it. We did sort things out fine.

BUT next time there is no way I would stop and take the chance that the guy would be chivalrous and not hit a girl. It never even occurred to me that the guy would be so worked up.

Anyhoo, just really glad you are okay and hope that you soon have your clean slate back.

thats when he got the knock.
ive got a witness to the whole thing, told the cop in my statement that it was selfdefence, two or three times
cop was pretty good over all but he said because i didnt try and calm the situation down before i swung at him ,just went at it he had to charge me with assault.....
was gunna plead guilty but the more i think about it the more i want to fight it
will talk with the wife and take it from there.
mate do NOT plead guilty, say it was self defense, quote what he was yelling and tell the judge you feared for your life if you stayed on the bike, and when you stopped he came at you, tell them you were very afraid and felt there was no option , you had allready tried to get away..

trust me,, if you do this right you will get off.. get a good lawyer, then also go for a personal grievance against his company, ( contact the papers etc) you will end up settling out of court,

yes all this will cost you money but you will have the charge dropped and you will possibly come away with a little money and have the C##t fired..

    good luck dude

No. He only has to approach you in a threatening manner. Note the word "believe".

The cops are only an informant. It's not their job or their problem to make the call, so dont take it to heart. They just file the paperwork and let the judge sort it out.
