Didn't stop you falling on your arse though

Standing on it while it's wet cold and snowing would be worse

Oh yeah it's snowing in Chch now, glad they made the main race early, although by the time I finished I couldn't feel my fingers

I think my fingers have started to thaw out too. Thanks to all the team involved in running BOB, fantastic effort and excellent call to run the race early. Good to see the race was allowed to run the full distance too, of course having the President crash at the hair pin on the WARM UP lap probably not a good look. Full credit to all that finished the main race too.
I'm amazed my bike got to the end, running on slicks, running an open carb without even a airfilter! Built tough these little FXR motors!/ Oh yeah congrats to Brenblade, amazing pace on a slick shod bike in those conditions!
Thanks to the Welly mob too for coming down, even put on some Welly weather for ya

Hang on, it is snowing!!! woohoo!

What fell off first the wheels or the fingers ?
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Pussys should have run it later so we could race in the snow

All credit to the organisers for putting on a good event, it's just a pity the weather was crap, but it was a bloody good day

I may have sniggered in my helmet as I passed that incident and then saw F5dave lying in the track having just been run over by Andy mac (he was ok)

On the GN/DR I loooked down between the gap in the seat to see a little river coming off the back wheel pretty much aimed right at the open bellmouth

Passed Pamela and Trudy about 4-5 times and she was definitely in at the end

I had to get Joni and Divvo to remove my gloves and helmet as I couldn't feel my fingers and they weren't working

I have to admit Pamela and Trudy kept me going, I thought about pulling in at one stage but came up behind the girls and thought, well, if they are staying out so am I. Well done you two!!
Oh, and a little tip, ventilated Diadora race boots on reflection, were probably not the best choice of footwear!
