Thought the Jaffa's would make you feel at home. Make sure Subike gets to taste a jaffa when he gets back from hooning around in the fluffy stuff.

It was snowing around the hills in Alex most of yesterday, and around 10:00pm last night it finally started to settle. About 5 cm of snow on the ground here this morning. Not enough to be fun, just enough to be a nuisance.

Drove back from Oamaru to Christchurch yesterday, most of it in falling snow. (Used to driving in snow though because we lived in Twizel for 15 years). Anyhoo ... we saw a couple of guys riding south on their road bikes too. Can't imagine that would have been much fun though as the roads were a bit slushy for quite a bit of the way.

It kinda does - it's like a blanket of anti-noise. At least when it's calm and the snow crystals are large

Hooray for snow. Mt. Hutt opens this weekend. The snow base is already better than it ever got last yeah

Got enough 'motorskills' to get me by thanks mate.

And snowboarding is far more like motorcycling than skiing.

We boarders also get to walk in our boots without looking like we've got a cucumber jammed up our arse too.

I don't know how you're riding - but I've found that if I'm going sideways towards something on my motorbike I'm doing something wrong...

Problem with walking in snowboard boots is that you have to use one hand to hold your pants up at all times.

With time one comes to enjoy the cucumber
