Oh exactly. Just a chance to learn good lines in a controlled environment to further aid my public road riding which doesn't exceed 100km/h.

LOL yeah mate i agree, i cant even get to 100km on some parts of the road (bloody 25km corners) so track days should help with that.

pfft thats nothing. You need to try out the 15km corners in the forgotten highway near Taranaki! Now THATS a road!

Im yet to ride any of the North Island roads, but i have heard there are some pretty good ones up there

Yeah definitely. I was up touring there in March. Favorites would be forgotten highway, most of the coromandel, and the east cape. Oh and the rimu takas - managed to get a clean run ALL the way up due to roadworks

Will prob be doing it again next March (best weather then, and no holiday traffic).

Thats right i remember you telling me you had to wait for ages for roadworks and of course you got right to the front of the Q so when they finally let you through you had no traffic, its like a dream.
