Obviously the man doesn't know the difference between a replica and a poor attempt at a lookalike.

    I did.

It states it is a replica, and even goes so far as to call it "an affordable Britten".

Read that and look at what it is... there's your big difference!

I think it looks really cool. Very well done.

Although it says he took 7 years to build it.... more like 6 years of stuffing around and 1 year of weekend work.

    but hey, it looks good
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

    It's not a tribute, it's a travesty. BIG difference.

i actually think its a not a bad attempt. and for a market with a vacuum in this area its nice to see stuff like this appear.
but then again this is inbred, tall poppy chopping NZ. All shouting "Burn the witch" rather than patting people on the back for the hard work they have done.
Its like the waka of Troy or some bullshit.

    BINGO!

It's never going to be a Britten, but the guy put in the work and had a go. Good on him.

It's not my personal cup of tea but it's obviously his - and he has my respect for that.

    Good on him for trying.

Better than buying some cheap plastics for a VFR and saying it's a RCV or something...
