Hear Him! And Mr Avgas! The Bros ain't my cup of tea, but this is the best looking one I've ever seen. And it has required more effort than just banging a few stickers on the side and calling it a race replica.

It's cool as man. I liked the Bros when I was younger, never had a go on one though. Cant be as bad as what is being made out here.

I have ridden a Bros and it wasn't all bad...

I've also ridden a Monster S4R and KTM Superduke, neither of which were happy below 3500-4000rpm. Above that, yes, they were better. Maybe I was expecting too much with all the fuss made about low-down torque, though you can't go too low, then it gets all luggy and surgey...

Twins are okay, they just didn't 'speak' to me like any of the screamers do...

I'm glad you like them though...

Edit: I'd rather ride a VFR400 and experience the raspy scream at 13k, than ride a twin and not enjoy it...

So typical of Kiwi Whinger.Whatever it is it taken some of the guys time and talent (pretty obvious he has some) to do,sweet wee bike and as for Britten turning in his grave if you could actually turn in your grave methinks he would applaud the guy for doing something different,as he did.Park it next to an 02 XL1200S and whats more worthy of respect? Not to mention on roads where any form of actual riding ability are needed it would probably show the Sthe way home.

Sweet little bike, I think he'd have been onto a winner if he'd done it with a TL1000 "donor".

    Thumbs down

I think its a poor attempt on a great bike. Is he just doing this to get rid of an old bike? putting Johns name on it so that it will sell for a higher price.
What would Johns wife say? does she get anything from this?
I think its a crap attempt and dirty way to make money.
If you are behind meDont ask as I am lost too.

Dont know what all this nonsense is about John turning over in his grave is about.

I would think John be pleased that he had inspired someone to have a go at buildng a bike in their garage,
albiet on a much smaller scale.

You just have to look at the photo showing how he made the moldings for the bodywork to see he was not
just throwing this together one sunday afternoon for a quick sale.

Good on him for making a 'look-a-like'.

But putting the name BRITTEN on it is a bit rude in my opinion.
