True ! We were doing the pile driving on one of them dream homes !
Steep sort of a site and it rained lol most of the bloody time ! Was that your one ? Never made it on tv haha think we were a bit loud !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Ones I can find online at the moment. Waikato Times and Piako Post 2-3 times, and several times where the helicopter has gotten all the glory on the news for Timor, Solomons, SAR's, exercises, but never who the crew was!!!!

My narrowest escape was when I said no to participate in a 1 hour documentary. Everybody else thought I was crazy to pass up on that opportunity - however, to my knowledge none of the other participants are currently in a position where I would have any reason to feel envy.

1999. My oldest son (then about 3 yrs) & I were interviewed for TV on a native tree planting day on Quail Island (Lyttleton Harbor)

I spent 4 years taking on the Nelson Marlborough District Health Board, with regards to their widespread system failings at my youngest sons premature birth, 6 years ago.. which left Alex, at a few hours old, in a coma in the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit at Wellington Hospital & not expected to live. None of our nightmare should have happened! I got ACC & The Health & Disability Commissioner on board to investigate. They found the Obstetrician, the midwife & the whole NMDHB all in breach of the consumers rights! Nelson Hospital have since turned themselves upside down to make sure it never happens to anyone else! The ultimate result was a nationwide review into the Strep B Policy! The 4 year process consumed my life & nearly destroyed me.. but I would do it again tomorrow if I had to! (had a couple of big articles in the newspaper)

Organised the Nelson Rescue Helicopter Fund raising ride a couple of weeks ago..

While playing cricket in the UK in 2001 I was asked to be in a Marie Claire article - basically I met with 5 women (all at different times) then give my opinion on which one I'd consider bonking. Got a free pizza for lunch, 100 quid and a free return trip to London from Bristol. I've still got the mag, shit it was funny...
Also appeared in a low budget movie that was also filmed for a documentary for Inside New Zealand. Been on 1ZB a few times talking about Home Entertainment stuff, and also a columnist for Tone Magazine. Phew.
