That's good news, Grace is very keen to have a go at the Mercer track, having spectated a few times... She's spent the last couple of days at the Sandpit and while not the fastest thing on two wheels up there, she's certainly unfazed by whoops and soft sand. I think I'm about to become a nervous mxdad.......

After checking your race line last weekend witch said that the practice was on then packing up and driving over 120km with my 6 year old so he could try the mini track only to be one of 30 or so car loads of bikes to turn up to find out that you had decided that dirt bikes don't work if there are puddles and had called it of!!!!
Very bad form to change your message on the race line and then change it again later!!!
There were a lot of disappointed people there and the track and weather were very doable, they are called dirt bikes for a reason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really it was canceled because it was too wet? I think you could expect the same this weekend then, but hard to imagine a sand track being closed because it was too wet. I thought that was the point of running a sand track at this time of year?

Twice the displacement, twice the cost and a decibel problem, I'll pass on the inside brraaaap!!!

the call was made at 9.30 and race line updated then,(it was hailing at the time), the mini track could not have been drained, and hte senior track was not much better,

i made the call and i stand by it, u know it may not be popular

I hope you were not the person that rang the club secretary, and abused her, then was not a man enough to leave a name!!!!

No I didn't ring anybody and the point of my complaint was not that it was canceled but that your race line said that it was definitely on ( this was definitely after 9.30!)and later it was changed! A lot of the people who turned up had traveled a long way and some were regulars who couldn't believe it was canceled!
Maybe next time you will stand by your race-line message and give those who travel some faith that the event will be on when we get there!!
