They have got a good point there.......
Whats your thoughts on price? Im thinking 25-30k?

Also found this pick. Now if there was a new V4/5 Sportsbike also released I think Id have to have one of those too!

    "Double clutch system"?
I wonder if that's a similar system to the gearbox in the DN-01?
No mention of a "super Vtec" system that disables some cylinders when cruising... I'm just dreading that any new VFR might have that. Although mebbe with fuel prices leaping up so rapidly it could be a good thing.

I might have to disable my PowerCommander and reinstate the O2 sensors - I'm only getting around 30-summat miles to the gallooon....
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Its difficult to see the V5 being brought out as a sports bike when the current Fireblade is so good and well ahead of every other sports bike. If Honda do bring out a V5 or a new VFR1000 you can bet your boots it will be a sports tourer festooned with every form of new technology - Electronic brakes, Traction control, VTEC, etc etc... It'll be a great bike but I wish they would focus more on what most people want.... A 990cc V5 MotoGP rep

    Meh...
I've been waiting and watching VFR development since the '90s. A few more months won't matter.

Found a pic in the drawer the other day, when I was looking for some passport photos. It was the one pic of the one time when I had two (2!!) bikes.
    Momentarily.
Both V4s - 1985 VF500 and 1990 VFR750. I tried to scan it, but the scanner went mental so I gave up. So I tried to photograph it, but I haven't had my digicam long, and forgot where the "Macro" setting was. Apparently, it's the button with the macro symbol on it...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.
