Trouble is my pain is hard to describe. The best description I've found is to say:

"from my elbows up, including my chest (esp ribs) and shoulders I have a skin sensation that is similar to how you feel achy when you get the flu"...

... at this point I usually draw a blank from health professionals. Maybe should give it a go. *Wonders if ACC would cover this*

Back at work, and to be honest since I have been back they've been a bit stingey when it comes to paying for shit. Actually more like they were a bit ansty when it turned out I wasn't able to drive for a year.

I had to move house to live on a bus route (no taxis now), and now my assistance with buses has a limited period of support. I like to fend for myself just like the next guy, but when my case manager says things like "you have to understand we are trying to save a bit of money" it makes you wonder if they are an accident compensation org, or a bank.

Anyway, just bugs me a bit and I'm a bit ranty this morning.

If you want to speak to someone who has experience in getting shit outta these guys let me know. My sister and mother became very good at this. I can see if she wants to have a chat.

Yeah kinda hinted at that. Its the walking to work and having to do physio which I stated could be a problem... but I don't think it will be.

Cheers... I know I can challenge decisions but quite honestly I'm not really in the right 'place' to get shitty. They are paying for a lot of expensive stuff, and I'm not a complainer (except to those in earshot ).

Sounds like shingles, except it don't usually attack the elbows.

Let me know if you want the number of my osteopath Sean.... he's a god send!!! He charges about $40 a visit on ACC, but he really makes sure you're fixed before you leave his office.

stick to your guns Sean & if your not up to dealing with them .. get an advocate, Nasty would be the perfect candidate for that job .. love to see someone try & get one over our babe ..

seriously you need to ensure you get what your entitled too & do not allow them to fob you off .. I have found that my pain was referred (as most is) so even though it was my neck & shoulders it was coming from my sciatica. I have found mainstream therapists tend to concentrate on the area where your naturopaths etc tend to look at the body as a whole & where is the pain originating from .. It makes a huge difference and after the trauma your body has been through it would not be surprising that you still have pain
Have to Karma ... Justice catches up eventually !!

Steady on there girl. Skels sounds like things could be better, but I don't think getting him fixed is the answer. My cat's never been the same.

Currently my wife is seeing Chris my ostiopath fully funded on ACC for an injury. He works both in the Kapiti area and in Tawa.
Bloody good guy & a biker as well! Rides a KTM.

My wife got me fixed. Reckons I was spraying the furniture too much.
