It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

We're not ALL the same, for example I don't think Meeky Mouse is 6ft tall, 97kg, and has a beard. I could be wrong.....

    Real simple:

The gixxer thou has been regarded the best inline thou for ages, (I dont want to argue about the why's and hows, it's the common theme in all shoot out comparrisons is all I'm saying), so the idea seems to be that owning one makes you the best. This will change, (if the K8 aint something very special given the gains the other manufacturers have made for their latest releases), and so will the perception of it's riders.

I had one, fuckin loved it, had some race success on it, and my head swelled visibly. I'd have another one though, christ it was a great bike.

    Somebody give me their K2!!!

This is the truth, I have ridden all the latest jap one litre sports bikes, Blade, ZX10, R1, GSXR1000K6, and IMHO, the Gixer is by far the easiest and most fun(wheelies on demand) bike out! Its in the delivery of the power that makes it "special".
One other thing about the riders, they are the sort of people that demand the best value for $$$$ (bang for buck) when they buy a bike, in other words, cheap barstards!! They are also the most outrageous when they drink piss, and the rudest buggers I know!

They ARE comparatively cheap to fix after binning. I should know!!!! Actually they also seem to crash well at the track, much better than the CBRs it seems... um I mean they don't get damaged as much.

Just kidding. The Gixxer's turned 2yrs old last week and I still love it. You may remember my loss of license the day after I got it http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=32493. I'm back to no demerit points again so there was a bit of a celebration.

What is it about the Gixxer? The CBR is in many ways a better bike but its the one I'd sell. Make me an offer on that!

I have found it to be practically impossible to crash Gixxers on the road...
I have however made up for this by crashing every single gixxer I have ever ridden on the race track.

Gixxer Crashes are well into the double figures by now... That makes me speshul

(except Poos 810, I just ran that over an exhaust pipe and nearly jumped the pitlane wall at manfield on it.)
