In my never ending quest to buy old bikes and mess round with them I have a question that maybe someone with a manual can answer.
I am replacing the fork seals and need to know how much fork oil to put back in when Im finished. Its a 1985 Kawasaki KX80 Disc brake water cooled model.
Anyone??????
I'm one of the worlds best riders. I can wheelie, I can stoppie, I can stunt, hell I can get my shoulder down. I could keep up with Rossie if I wanted to race.
Then I go from bed to bike and somehow it all turns to crap.

Wheel sizes are 14" and 17"

and its a small wheel with those sizes,

10 w fork oil,
oil cappacity 277.5ml per leg,
oil level (compressed, from top of fork leg with springs out) 120mm

Scott just another question please. Can you tell me the torque for the swing arm pivot and for the bolt at the top which goes through the frame that the upper suspension pivots on

Thank you for that Scott thats a big help. My son and I started rebuilding the front end today. A good learning curve for him and a bike that should ride and look better when its done
