the thing is I wasnt really in his lane, the gap between the cars was massive, and my wheels were actually in the other lane, I had no intention of using his lane (not that he's to know that) but i managed to leave the other cars behind so all they had to do was accelerate like normal really.

You may not have the complete reg number, but if this guy has done it to you, he may have done it before to others, or will do it again.
With your complaint and discription, the police have reason to pull a vehicle matching your discription if it is seen acting in a stupid manor.
You remembering the numbers might even coincide with somebody elses complaint who remebered the letters from a similar incident.

rocked up at one of the lights on Fitzgerald (it's a 3 lane road) just now, I idled up between 2 cars to the front, plenty of room, the lights turn green and I give the usual oomf to get away from the perceived carnage behind me.

I notice as I pull away the cage to my left has kept pace, his front starts slipping towards me so I boost it to get out of the way, he didn't indicate I thought this guy wasn't paying attention or something, but then he slips right over to my right hand side and hoofs it up my right side, cuts me off, jams on his brakes and cuts back into the lane he was in before.

i stop chanting some music and say "fuck", so i keep my eye on this guy, rego was ASJ352 (i cant remember the 3 alphabetical letters, numbers are right but there was definitely a J) eventually traffic gods see fit for me to come up on his left, as I'm riding along the guy makes a swerve at me, I'm level with the driver so i kind of look in to see if he's on the phone or getting head or something, he swerves again....fuck this guys insane....I'm outta here a gap opens up in front of me so i boost it before he actually hits and he turns off at the next lights.

I thought back to that thread where someone chased the guy and found him picking up his Russian girlfriend and going to lunch...but this guy was gonna knock me off if I'd stuck there for another second...

actually now the initial shock has worn off I should've followed him, not like I've got anything to do this evening and a high speed chase could've been a bit of sport on what's been a pretty mundane day.

Been in FAR worse suituations and achieved nothing through the cops, taking it into my own hands with the help of others (legally) well that went somewere.
