It freaked me out for the first tank of gas - in a challenging and enjoyable way. But WTF as well.

By the 3rd tank of gas I went over Woodcocks hill in the prevailing conditions far more comfortably than on a motorcycle.

The trick is you drop the other knee than normal - but it takes a while to get your head around.

When you do - very exhilarating.

Car drivers wouldn't have the same mind-fart to contend with.

i liked the concept but to me it just looks ugly - especially considering the good looking competition its up against.

Have you seen it in the flesh. Ugly it ain't.

Comical, organic, totally weird, trippin', James Bond, but mostly 'wow', are the types of things people say about it in person.

I don't think drivers will have as much trouble 'adjusting' to it as riders, but it opens up the market somewhat.

I'm not thinking so much of the precise physical dynamics and control inputs of the machine, but rather the mental familiarity with the level of concentration required to maintain control of it at the performance level it's capable of.

Most car drivers have never entered that zone.

Take your point. By the third tank of gas I'd call control intuitive - but the cranial activity for the set up is intense - more than a bike at the moment. Familiarity and all that.
I'm not going to have it long enough to see how long that novelty lasts.

    Most important question.

Can you turn the traction control off?

Those are some serious grab handles. Female pillions, with plenty of "booty", have been well catered for.

You don't need to. It 'appears' to only effect the front. ie come into play if the front looks like breaking loose.
    Just researching it now.

No - they are needed by all - think car - and sliding across a bench seat.

    Exactly.

You were using it as a verb - you meant 'affect'.
