Never good to see a bike shop close down.

Its odd, a quick calculation says I have been to well over 30 bikeshops in NZ, from MotoSouth in Invercargill to Shaws in Whangarei, and yet I had never been into Phil Turnbulls - and its just up the road in Palmy. Go figure.

hey team pauly here.yes the shop is closed at this point there is someone intrested in buying the place tho. so dont panic just yet.if the shop is bought the prospective buyer has said he wants to retain the same staff as before so with a bit of luck and a sprinkling of fairy dust we could well be back in action soonish. will keep you updated as i know more. thanks again for the support from you guys

Yeah, this sucks to the MAX!!
Been my mainstay that shop, awesome people with sound advice too, really hope that the people looking at purchasing go ahead and do so. Fingers crossed.
