Jesus wept - that was both just so hard to read and yet a privilage to do so. I cannot imagine what living it must be like. You have done an amazing thing and I'm genuinely impressed. Well done.

Well done ... the thing is now he knows he can't say he doesn't. He has the chance to understand the impact and not make the same choices in the future. I admire your strength.

I am so grateful that the meeting went as you hoped & he did show remorse & interest in Brendon and those he has ripped him away from.
One step forward on your journey, Thank you for sharing with us Lisa.

Thanks to everyone for their support its been good to hear from everyone on the thread and private messages. I am glad I was able to let everyone know what was going on as I know some of you knew brendon personally. I have printed this thread -all 70 odd pages! As I thought it would be nice to keep and for Anton to read later on. If there is any messages you would like to leave for Anton for the future feel free and I will print them off as well.

We rode passed the crash site tonight.
Yes rode a bike in this weather as it seemed to be the right thing to do and dropped in to see his partner and have a Bourbon for old time sake.

Weird to think what happened a year ago.
So dark he would not of seen it until it was far to late.

And D you are right over the years I have said good bye to far to many friends.

Hi, It's odd to think it has been a year. Went for a ride with some mates on the anniversary. It was really hard.....and really cold! But it was nice to do it again, I have been to screwed up to get out for a ride, but I'm back on my feet for the most part and it felt good being back on a bike. It wasn't the v max but it was a good ride. We went back to the accident site, left a bourbon for him. Really hard. Could see it all in my head as I have seen photos police took that night and when I went out there after the accident the blood was stil on the road, so I found my mind searching for the things I saw when I went there the first time. We stopped at woodend to dry off before deciding we should still carry on to Greta Valley. Very cold but it was great to talk by the roaring fire. Brendon would have enjoyed it. We were laughing how Brendon had heated handlebars on the v max but always forgot to turn them on until he was coming up to breezes road (2min from home!) Then after the cold day out we got home at 4.30pm and coming up breezes road, you guessed it, the sun came out!
Thanks lemans n sdu for droping in it was good to see you both and thanks for the info on the RGV, hopefully I will get it there and get the V Max completed to. It's to hard to go through the garage yet but hopefully I will do it when summer arrives and by then will have found someone to work on it.

    Sad memories, very sad.

    On a personal note:
Sadly I have become insensitive to this aspect of life......not good to realise this in ones self.
