    Dunno.
    I think gp's are about:
    1. the riders, then
    2. the manufacturers, then
    3. tire brands

Thats all sweet unless #3 is seriously fucking up #1. It aint at the moment (Pedrosa and Mich were running away with it before he got hurt).

Yeah well thats what everyone will be saying and its hard to put it down to anything else. He was keeping the gap at a constant 1-1.2s and rossi was no able to close it down. I think its rossi's to loose now. Would have to have at least 1 dnf for stoner to have a sniff.

I hoped for this result, but disappointed the way it unfolded. Not wanting to give away the result, a good fight would have been much better. Gaz.

What if rossie is just being himself and playing games?
they have pitboards and know exactly how fast they/everyone else is...
he _could_ have just been sitting there for a few lap, then when he sped up and before he could pass stoner, and dissapear off ahead, stoner crashed...

I don't think so, there is to much at stake to be playing, I am pretty sure Rossi would have been trying to get to the front from the flag drop.

I would love the chance to ask him though.
I can see it now wharfy and Vale in the bar having a few bevvies, talking about sex (cause thats what guy's do when they have had a few)
wharfy says " hey Vale speaking of sex, were you just fucking with Stoner at Brno ?" "nay fookin chance, I wur geein it deeth fur the off !" Rossi replied

Rossi said in the post race interview that he felt that he was gaining on Stoner just before he crashed so we may never know if Rossi was able to catch battle and beat Stoner to the end.
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

He's one race win off Agostini's record for wins in the premier class of GP, and I always thought Ago was fantastic, but without question the Dr has had more respectable competition than Ago had for a few of the years he raced. So the boy is good

Some hereabout were wondering if Rossi had erred in changing tyre brands - perhaps less so now?

Expect Michelin Tyre Technician to appear in an upcoming episode of "The Worlds Dirtiest Jobs" on Sky.

    Rather them than me.

yeah seams whole yamaha team(edwards, tosland) whining about crap michelins, pedosa crying about how crap they are also.

So will we see more teams on bridgestone next year, does bridgestone want more teams, said end of last year they didn't want any new ones, but i think told very nicely to give rossi tires.

Edwards and Toseland are getting spanked by Dovisioso (also on M), of course they're crying.

Yeah wonder if he gets Haydens factory Honda next year? Looks like they may give it to Nakano though...although maybe he only got a factory bike to see how it goes on Bridgestones?
