I am the coolest man alive

Today I rode an MV Agusta F4, for the first time, round the beautiful roads of northern California. Tomorrow I am going to Burning Man.

I was going to put some more blah blah blah with inline images and everything, but vBulletin conspired to make it sufficiently difficult that I found myself unable to do it from a kitchen table in Berkeley. I found it most disturbing but then remembered ... I rode an MV Agusta F4, for the first time, round the beautiful roads of northern California in the company of the fine gentlemen shown below and tomorrow I am going to Burning Man.

For perhaps just today I am the coolest man alive and inline images do not matter a damn.

Do you always line your friends up in order by the colour of their skin?

Quite jealous. As if the Striple wasn't sex on wheels enough for you, you had to go and find possibly the one bike that has more ooomph appeal.

I had a few key "takeaway" points from the experience that may be worth sharing:

    • The hype is justified
    • The MV made is very very clear exactly how bad I am at riding, but forgave me every time
    • The MV's owner took the opportunity to have a go on a 998 Testastretta (with Ohlins) and loved it

Man, that photo brings back memories. I lived and worked in the Marin/Napa/Sonoma area for three years. I lived in San Anselmo, about 20min from Pt Reyes. Some of the best biking roads in California! Spent a few rough nights in The Old Western Saloon across the street too. hoo. Fun times.

    Oh yeah, nice bike!!

Bummer about the green leathers that you hired. I guess that's so no one is inclined to keep them. Kinda like bowling shoes!!
