    Off To Aussie

    Well I wont be along this Thursday as Im off to seek out some sunshine this week. I didnt realise when I booked the trip it was my bikes birthday this week. Not wanting it to sit lonely in the garage on Thursday night I have entrusted it to Antonio to take along so you guys can celebrate for me.
    And of course, if I say NO BURNOUTS, of course whats going to happen, so I wont say it

    Perfection is not something you should ever attain, but something to always strive for. For if we actually achieve our idea of perfection, is it then any longer perfect?

    Sent it off today. Hopefully it will be done by friday............... $300+ later... It's some flash Hagon shock which he has never rebuilt before so he doesn't know how much it will be..

    Can anyone help out with a road test?

    Ahem ... I suppose if I'd done a forum search, I would have found this thread first before starting a new one elsewhere {sigh}

    My nephew's in the army overseas and because his uncle is soooo cool and rides a bike, he wants one too. There's one in the bay that he likes the look of.

    It's a Kawasaki ZXR import. It has a bit of gravel rash, rusty chain and is unregistered atm but he is keen on it if there's nothing nasty to worry about. It's at Adrenalyn Motorcyles (whoever they are). This is the listing

    If anyone there would like to check it out there's a bed and a beer here when you're next in Welly.

    I know the place well and I've seen the bike in there. They usually clean them up before sale but they have imported a lot of 250s at the moment so some sit for a while. I would say it is in alright condition but I wouldn't be surprised if it hasnt been run for years, some of those bikes sit in Japan for years before being exported to here.

    I'm surprised there isn't a KB "how to buy a bike in japan" thread.

    DB
    "I am a licenced motorcycle instructor, I agree with dangerousbastard, no point in repeating what he said."
    "read what Steve says. He's right."
    "What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
    "I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
    "Wow, Great advise there DB."
