Why did they have to choose such a small bike to evoke that sort of era...why couldn't they choose 500cc or something you could get a thrill out of riding instead of just looking at? 70kg's is bugger all weight but 7hp just doesn't cut it even if you are a featherweight.
Are you bananas? They'd be a shit load of fun to ride. So light you could pick it up carry it over to your grid position. Imagine wide open throttle, taking it to redline in every gear, not daring to touch the brakes, trying to conserve every last little bit of speed... horsepower just smothers the riding experience. This is what I wish I had in my bike and want to aim for, except it's too lardy and wallowy.

Haha, your bike has already got a better power to weight ratio than that wee tiddler so imagine less performance than what you've got. It weighs the same as a 125GP bike but has approximately 1/10th the horsepower. Now I'd love a 125GP bike if I could fit on one so I acknowledge that horsepower isn't everything, but this is just taking that statement to extremes.

Nup, any motorised transport that is capable of being passed by a pushbike on a flat stretch of road is null and void as far as I'm concerned.

Horsepower smothers the riding experience? Mate, there are minimum standards that have to be met and this thing is waaaay to close to being a cycle rather than a motorcycle.

He's already raced it at a big bucket meeting darn sarf. Got lapped a bit but enjoyed every minute.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Yes, but the race he was in was for the NZ50cc GP so it wasn't actually a bucket race (although buckets did take part in it)

Have a read of this article! Comes from somebody who normally likes racing 160hp monsters and didn't think it'd excite him.

How about just trying to get the thing going and then trying to actually show up for the racing?

    It's this Sunday btw....

I had a family feud that's been stopping me from going. Plus I've had no money. I had the option of borrowing money off the parents but I can't do that anymore.

Also need money for a new front brake master cylinder as the one that came with the bike is stuffed and Dad's taking back the VFR's cylinder that I put on it since he now owns my bike since I've racked up such a big debt with him.

I'm not being lazy, I've been trying really hard but life just isn't allowing racing to happen just yet. Once I'm out of Weltec and have a job I should be on track (pun not intended).

What size master cyl are you after? I've got a 5/8" one off a Suzuki GS1000 in the shed doing nothing, come and get it if you want it.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.
