Just before I lost my seat cowl last saturday, I was on the way home, going on the road Clevedon - Kawakawa (which ended up being closed just before the Kawakawa bay), when some dude on a red CBR600 RR did a stupid thing. As I was approaching a 50 km corner at a fairly high rate of speed, I just barely noticed some other bike in my back mirror. As i started turning in, Mr. red CBR started to overtake me on the outside going god damn knows how fast, in a fairly sharp corner, and going in MY LANE missing my front wheel by only about 20 centimetres... I never expected him to overtake me in a corner, so when I noticed a bike passing I barely managed to slow down and get to the left side of the road so I don't hit him. Then he demonstratively puts his knee down in a turn and speeds away.

By the way, we met face to face on the road block where everyone had to turn around. I think he was around 40 years old, and he wasn't too friendly, cos when me and my mate said "Hi" he didn't even look at as...

So Dude, if you are reading this, I'm sure you can ride way better then me, BUT KEEP IT ON THE TRACK, cos you nearly killed us both in that corner. STUPID, could have waited for a straight to take me over, I would even move to the left side of the road.

PS I forgot about this incident as just minutes later from that my seat cowl went flying and i got very pissed off.

sounds about as intelligent as the CBR250 rider that undertook me while i was driving the Silvia out east aucks today, the muppets rear wheel just missed my front by 20-30cm and the only saftey gear being worn was a helmet

Glad you are ok. And this prat is the reason that so many bikers get tarred with a bad brush!! If they want to meet God so damned quickly I am sure that there are some peeps out there that would give them a helping hand!
