John from the Te Poi / BIG COW is putting on a spit roast pork sunday 14th September at 2pm $10 per head.

We thought we will go the long way to Te Poi to work up an appetite.

Meet at Gate pa BP cameron road at 8.45am for a 9.00am departure.
The route planned Vegas/Whakamaru/old Taupo road, all welcome see you there.

Well it was a mint day for it boys! I'm bloody jealous.

I think I have fixed all the engine leaks in the Corporal, I will take it for a spin in the morning to check it out, then I just might have to do a trip over to the oko just to give it a shakedown run and make sure all is good. Once I have done that, about another 150k and it will be run in then it is all on!!!

Hired a car and went down to Byron Bay today. Now I really fell in love with that place. Awesome little town and there must be some great riding roads around as there were plenty of bikes pulling in. Have seen nothing but cruisers up here in Coolangatta,but saw some real bikes down at Byron. The beach and surrounding area is more like NZ. We drove down a secondary highway from Murwillingbah which was indeed a great motorcycling road, exept for the fact the speed limit was 90ks. I havent seen a highway patrol the whole time Ive been here though, but they have loads of speed cameras everywhere especially on the Pacific Highway. Heading home tomorrow (have to no money left). Would love to come back and try some of these off the main track roads though. Oh, and I saw a 1098s tri colour, with a PACK RACK! I know, I almost told the guy off!

Yum squirt over to oko on Saturday on the girlz bike for a few and back on the gay bike.

Great ride sunday got back in the groove with the gay bike thanx to some extra sticky sticky tyres...bring on the next track day, Im there!

Was good to ride with ya O you kept a good pace up there in the front, and nodrog rode like a cave man should!

Um and saul well didnt do any spectacular wheelies today but cleaned us all up as usual, and he cleaned his bike.

All round a great weekend and to top it all off this is a quote from the great girlz triumph rider, "Your bike felt better than mine." Well, what more can I say!

Was great to get out before I head off on holidays, bummer about the wet roads and the rain.. not sure how much of it you guys got but made for a nana ride to Coroglen.
What a difference tyres can make huh.

We had a bit of a shower but not much, got a bit chilly tho. As for the shewee, well I was a bit too embarrassed to use it in front of nodrog so had to do it the manual way
