I prefer Meusli with bananas...never could do weetbix, except buttered with Vegemite. Yum!
Young hXc can eat 12 weetbix..without banana, sliced or otherwise.

    Back on topic..
I wave, if someone waves back, great, if not, I figure it is their problem, not mine.....

If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...

You know what about Harley offering Doggie Bandannas eg?

Nearly everyone - whether they buy one or not - or ride a Honda - laughs, smiles or smirks about it.

    Terrible thing.

Nah, leave it a bit longer....
McJim is busy with a bend Duc and we should respect his shattered equilibrium. And Forkoil hardly ever visits these days.
    Where would be the fun?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Please don't let a generalisation like that stand in the way of your point Oscar...I ride a harley, i wave..if you wave back good on you, if you dont I dont care.

Your generalisation makes as much sense as me generalising about sportsbike riders all looking like wannabe racers in their multicoloured race replica leathers..looks like someone vomited playdough on them..but i wouldn't make that generalisation..there are wankers on harleys as much as there are wankers on any other brand..maybe the guy thought the warning gesture mentioned was being rude to him so he flipped the bird..so what..let it go..it's not worth having a sookie over is it????
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead
Do not walk ahead as I may not follow.
Do not walk beside me as the path is narrow

MisterD should be good for a go, and I'm in a fine mood for a stoush, hoarse from bellowing blasphemies on the road during my usual weekly compliment of near-death experiences in lycra.

Take their motorcycles away and Harley riders are generally lovely people. Some have even heard of other marques of motorcycle. A lesser percentage may have even owned or ridden one once.

Their Harleys are often a statement about who they want to be. It's a lifestyle/ambition thing. A conspicuous statement to the world at large, to other Harley riders and to those who may actually give a damn.

Harley (the company) understands and encourages this. Most US Harley stores don't stock much in the way of bikes. Some stock none at all. Grasp that reality and you'll start to get a bit of an understanding about Things Harley and how that works. You can buy Harley nappies for your grandkids, accoutrements for your dog and even lava lamps in red or yellow.

Like any other type of motorcyclist, Harley owners are tribal. They are also older and richer than others, with the possible exception of Ducati owners.

Although I appreciate them for what they are, I will never own a Harley for the same reason that I will never own a Porsche. I may however ride one on occasion.

Unlike their Kiwi counterparts, American Harley riders do wave.
Lol didnt you see me waving to everyone yesterday when we rode to castlepoint?????

    It's not a generalisation, it's a stereotype.
Actually it's more like experience - and I would seriously like to know why HD guys rarely wave back (and then get pissy when you ask them).

    Yes.

Filthy pretentious Italian ones with groupsets made by the brand that starts with C and isn't Shimano.

Well I wave to everyone...I could also ask why it is that sportsbike riders dont wave back that often but I actually dont care...there are enough waving threads here so maybe have a read of them...as I said, wave if you like, dont if you dont, each to their own but I still havent ever been able to find it written anywhere that all bikers have to wave (but then I have only been riding for 30 years so maybe it was before then?)
