    By By DR.......

Following a resounding response to my ad and for once I'm not actually being sarcastic... the DR has been to sold. Anyone living in the vicinity of Pukekohe should look out for it.

So, the moment you've all been waiting for.......I now have a semi matching pair of book ends! Thank you Barry and yes, you were all correct, I have succumbed further to the dark side

One 2006, 990 with Givi panniers & Akrapovics.

I just need to learn how to ride it.

Well I'll keep an eye out for a 990 with a what-the-bloody-hell-is-that-screen going over Pont Maungére!

What's the little PVC pipe thing down the bottom?

    Toothbrush holder
That ear to ear grin with all those gnashers on show, it will require a toilet brush to debug them.

    Congratulations on a fine purchase.

The new owner of your DR sure has got himself a fine bike.

Embarassed silence type pause......I have got to consider that point now and may well chicken out to preserve the paintwork for a bit longer, I need to have a couple of hours riding on the damn thing first. My fathers day present is sitting in the carport as I clean out the workshop & cart rubbish to the tip!

Unfortunately Jamie, I can't find a Ducati that will do gravel roads very well, I tried the Multistrada but it wasn't going to work. Would have made for some memorable crashes tho!
