I think this has been asked before but I can't seem to find it.
Can a 4 stroke carb be used on a premixed two stroke?
Other than jetting is there anything special that needs to be different?

In theory, yes (premix or pump). In practice it never seems to work very well, the various characteristics are different. If you are looking for a carb for your 1952 Excelsior 125cc, then a suitable 4 stroke carb (Briggs and Stratton ?) may well be able to be adapted. If you are after a carb for a high performance two stroke then the result may be at best disappointing

Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
Woot! Just what we need, another f*cken project..... Meanwhile a group of broken bikes and bits of bikes wait.....

Cheers Guys.
I specifically look for a 2 stroke carb when the time comes then.
