Why didn't you use that James Bond/Ducati oil dumping trick on him?

What about those of us who are granpa on the straights and 'nana' on the bends??? Maybe in our Alzheimer moments we think we are still riding ancient bikes with Single Leading shoe brakes and attempting to corner on Avon Speedmaster/Dunlop TT100's

When we were lads etc etc etc

Graywolf If you are minding your own business & riding consistently, good for you.
I pull over when there are faster guys coming thru , it doesn't worry me a bit. I ride my own bit of road at a speed that suits me, I just get annoyed by dickheads who pass me & then slow down.
Seems like many guys on a sports bike have to pass eveything of a lesser standard, its a matter of ego that their ability fails to back up.
Scrach's man was full of ego, trying to kid himself his bike could keep up wth a modern bike,

Next time we meet, I'll open a can of whoop ass all over that blue rinsed perm of yours.

    Watch yourself.

Yes, you. The little boy racer thinking he was Mick Doohan or some fine shit on your fancy sports bike. Trying to overtake me on the footpath. I didn't cut you up boy, and me hitting you with my walking stick was well deserved for that slick shit you pulled on the road. You youngin's don't even know you're born, when I were a wee Miss, we used to ride 160 miles on our Triumphs across gravel and snow to get to school. You threaten me with a can o' whoopass, this granny is gonna show you so' whoopass! Who you think yo' messing wit??

Watch yourself, the old school mafia now gunning for yo' boy...

Yes, you. You gloveless cardigan wearing old fool, weaving around all over the road less than a metre from my back tire, drooling out the side of your mouth while pulling that stupid face.

I've got every right to ride like a complete tosser, I own a sports/cruiser/rat/race/drag/learners bike - any old fool knows that I've got to be faster than you, you old fool. I got chicken strips only 2 inches wide, but I can race down the straights like the fastest Mo-Fo on the planet.

I know the "caregiver" at yo' resthome, tonight when you gets your loving, he's gonna tape your smart mouth with duct tape - try that for size GrannieSlowAss.....

My main point wasn't that he was riding a trumpy, sportsbike, cruiser or whatever. It was that his riding was farking scary. Out of his 3 overtaking manouvers, he managed to mistime umm....all 3 of them; resulting in cars on both sides of the road having to swerve. Seriously the most bonkerous riding I've saw since I arrived here....and that includes following the Auckland massive round the coro.

I'd have stopped and given him a piece of my mind (not much to spare) but (tick where applicable)
    • I was on my way to a stag night
    • He wouldn't have listened
    • I ride a ducati & honda so I'm a sportsbike riding latte drinking fag
    • His lack of gloves, denim waistcoat and "I'm bulletproof" riding style etc indicated he would have smashed me into a pulp.

It is with intense sadness and some guilt on my part, GrannieSlowAss (aka Helen Clark Snr), has died this morning as a result of a terrible Fatal Error (two KB accounts from the same IP Addy).

I hope you'll join me in a moments silence for the feisty old bird who bought so much colour into our lives.

At least you'll be a legal(ish) rider with something to loose who's had a little bit of training.

    I lol'd

Must admit I don't really understand anything less than ATGATT, but from YouTube vids it appears he wouldn't be the only one doing the opposite.

Totaly sympathise mate, however 'minding your own business' just does'nt work EG: 2 weeks ago 2 up on the (Wolrd famous in Wellywood) Rimutaka Hill going towards the 'rapa on a powerful bike, I was behind a car and about to use the overtaking lane as it opened up when a total ...... on a Hardly Ridable sporty decided to whizz round the outside of me and overtake just as I indicated and started to accelerate. (If YOU are a KB rider and are reading this you are a W....R!) This 'rider' put his total safety in my hands, I had to think for him, be aware of his road position, ride to keep him safe and take evasive action (brake hard). His lean angle? Lets say he had 0% available for the unexepected. (I was waiting for the bike to slide out under him). And that was the same type of incident, high power bike with a lower technology vechile ridden 'beyond' its safe limits.

I guess the moral in both cases is....... there are idiots on bikes as well as in Ovlov's
