Nice read, good on ya !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"
Bowls can wait !
Just had a look at the blog...
Fantastic stuff.......
Just read that, good story & pics! Rosie & I are planning to ship the bikes over next year & do a similar-ish loop.
Cheers

Wow, looks like a great adventure. You have some excellent photos on your blog, what camera do you use? What do you think of the HJC adventure helmet?
Hi Sue, sounds awesome, you've been busy doing a lot of stuff. No wonder we haven't seen you around here much lately.
Cheers

Good for you Suzie, a well told story of a neat ride! I haven't been that far south, closest I got to where u been was Maree in SA, but that wide open desert country is mind boggling aint it! Really does make you realise our place in 'the scheme of things'.
I noted your experiences with outback folk, almost parallels my experience as well: I found everyone I met, be they fellow adventurer or local, to be friendly, outgoing and well found. You always felt that if you REALLY needed help, it would not be too far away or too long comming( exception is the Gunbarrell hiway).
I bet you are planning the next one now?
That was so cool.
If you are behind me
Dont ask as I am lost too.
simply awesome photos on your blog![]()

Hi
I took two cameras. A little Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 that I carried in my jacket pocket for quick snaps and my Nikon D70s with a tele lens and macro lens along with the basic 24 - 80 lens. I enjoy photography and painting so to me it is important to have good camera gear.
Liked the helmet as it offered portection from the sun and being more open than the road helmet was cooler. All good really! Thanks![]()

Hello and thank you.
Yes thinking about what next. unfortunatly my mind is able to think up more than I have time to do !! At present have thoughts of northern india into Ladakh by motorcycle, or Mongolia by (do not laugh) horse. And yes lots more to see in Australia. Really love the outback and want to do more there. How about you any more plans to ride more over there?
