    L.e.a.

Anybody hear heard of Blue Angels club and what they represent??
    (WITHOUT going to Google!)

And do they seem like some sort of outlaw bikie gang??

And would they resent said B.A. at a rally??

    So I beleive.

The idea of such a branch of them in NZ was quashed by narrow-minded beeyourokratic minions so I hear..scared the public would see them as some sort of Hells Angels.

Correct. I was contacted by a fellow officer to join but it never got off the ground after they accused us of joining a criminal organisation!

Head office (non-biker) stupidity at its best.

Its a biker club for police and ex police members with min 5 years service if I recall correctly.

Sounds very similar to The Patriots. Mate in Melbourne who is ex Police and now in the Fire Service used to ride with them.
The one's I met were decent blokes and it seems ridiculous that unfavourable attention is being directed their way.
And no, it wouldn't bother me at all if they were at a rally.

Contact them. You might be surprised. Or not.

Couple of CKMC people are also in Patriots. Haven't met a Patriot I haven't liked and didn't think was a good guy.

There were moves to start another ex-military type club in NZ that I was aware of but I didn't even know the Patriots existed. Interesting.

You see one or two floating around at bike rallies, especially the Canterbury ones.
