well I've just spent some time meandering around the bike.
I could probably salvage a foot brake lever, maybe a muffler (not sure about the insides of the muffle) a right foot peg, a front rim (maybe .. not sure about heat damage)
Its a shame to hear about this. lauren and i will hopefully be up in a few weeks and will come visit him in the hospital if he is still there.
Heal up quick Warr
Owch. Taken as a timely reminder.

"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
"Wow, Great advise there DB."
WTB: Hyosung bikes or going or not.
cripes....that's real sad.
again, all the best.
I guess that with all the "Mormon Few post" about racing on the roads and how cool it is - People get an idea that you are all riding like idiots on the road and are accidents waiting to happen. Some people dont have any time or sympathy for people who act like that. So to this end its almost as if comments taking 'digs' are a result of the Mormon few marketing program.
As they say - its all fun until someone loses an eye.
Regardless - I hate to see anyone get hurt - and I genuinely hope that he has a full and speedy recovery.
If its any help when he is ready I should be able to provide a old laptop I can give him so at least he can get KB when in hospital - if this is of any use - one of his friends can just PM me and I will arrange to meet up with them with it.
Not cool...
Good work Carver and the rest of the guys supporting him while he is in hospital.
Il come visit before I fly out.
Hope you have a quick recovery Warren!
All the best to you and your family.
Jamie
Very sorry to here about this inccident....
hope warren heals well........and the support you guys are giving him...
In all my years of riding..i have never seen a bike catch fire...
Any more details?????????
but it is...
warr aint in the few.
he was saying how slow we were...
thats right, read it again.
it was/is fun to ride fast, on they way home i did 140 - 200kph in the rain through the gorge....and loved every minute of it, plus 2nd gear standup wheelstands to redline on the CBR 600, also in the wet.
it was so unforgettable
however
warr is a cautious experienced rider, and there is no way he would have been doing anything wreckless, we all ride at our own pace.
