    Quasimoto Vengeance Leather Jacket

If I were a dog I'd be 294 dog years old. And dead. What this means is I've seen lots of rebranded stuff imported by fly-by-nighters, and with the exception of TonyB's Minotaur brand, and happily Quasimoto, they've invariably been cheap & nasty.

Not so my lovely new Vengeance jacket.

The thing that struck me when I first checked it out at Deano's place was that the seams were all straight, double-stitched, and flat with no bunching at the joins or ends of a seam. The next thing that leapt out was that there were no "dag ends" anywhere. No untrimmed fabric or thread at all.

All the panels are of a consistent size, shape, grain, and colour. All those things add up to something that looks like a quality item.

I've worn it for a few days now and the vents work, the stretch panels prevent that tight underarm feeling some jackets can give you and the neoprene panel at the back of the neck is genius. It's wearing in really well and should be perfect in a couple of years time. I've got some new trousers in the pipeline too, but in the meantime my Spyke's zip up to the short zip at the back of the jacket. The new trousers will use the full width zip - that's right, the jacket supports both 2-piece attachment methods.

I once owned a really nice Hein-Gericke (now First Gear) touring two piece leather suit. This is easily up to their quality and fit.

Looking like a deformed hunchback myself means I can identify with the brand too. IYKWIM.

You don't look too much like a hunchback in that jacket, Jim..actually, I'd go so far as to say, you just keep getting younger..and more hair!!!

I second what you say about Quasi gear tho. I love mine so much, I'll never jump on the bike without it

thanks for the write up dude, they are triple stitched to btw, thats the LEast stitching you will get on any of our gear, race suits are quadriple, I know it looks like two but its 3.

I actually just unwrapped some pants that arrived today by DHL, Im not sure if they are yours but will ask Mrs Quasi (the Boss) when she gets home

thanks again, we really appreciate it

    cheers

PS new style being made now so keep an eye out all

I've had mine for about (at least) a year now and it's just starting to consider wearing in. Including going for a slide.

I like that the neck has changed and that it's sprouted evil looking shoulder pads.

Fark... good write up - but coming from one as (let's face it) cynical as Sir Jimmy the 2nd... that's one hell of a writeup!

    Big ups to Quasi.

I have found the trousers to be a bit of a "chameleon". The leather is quite thick, but for some unknown reason it is very flexible and supple. Not normally two things that go together easily.
That is a nice looking jacket, Jim!(p.s. you need a shave.)

Agreed. I have the same Jacket, and found it superb. Even makes me look marginally slimmer.

It is my first leather gear, but I guess I chose well.
